Academic agreements with universities
Universidad de Buenos Aires (UBA)
Sworn Junior College maintains a strong academic bond with Universidad de Buenos Aires. Every year, our school welcomes teachers from UBA who present Sworn students with the academic programmes offered by this prestigious institution.
In the 2012 school year, Mrs. Jennifer Sworn was recognized for her trajectory and commitment to education by the Ciclo Básico Común (CBC) authorities. This recognition was awarded by Professor Jorge Ferronato, CBC Head of the University of Buenos Aires, during an academic ceremony which took place at our school.
Università di Bologna
Sworn Junior College maintains an ongoing academic relationship with Università di Bologna.
Representatives of the University of Bologna have been based in Argentina for all Latin America since 1998. In this regard, Sworn Junior College is in direct contact with this renowned institution in order to provide our students with the necessary information to apply for admission.
Universidad Torcuato Di Tella (UTDT)

All students who graduate from Sworn Junior College with an average score equal to or higher than 8 during the first four years of secondary school will be exempted from taking the admission exam to enter UTDT university.

In addition, all students that fulfil the requirement detailed above will be able to apply for a 20% scholarship.

The three students with the highest average scores (from first to fourth year of secondary school) proposed by the school authorities will be able to apply for a 50% scholarship.
Universidad de San Andrés (UdeSA)
The agreement between Universidad de San Andrés and Sworn Junior College is based on the development of academic, scientific and cultural activities that promote interinstitutional relations among our communities.
The university is committed to
- informing our students about undergraduate courses, syllabi and admission policies;
- enrolling our students on undergraduate courses and exempt from admission exams those students who graduate from Sworn Junior College with an average score equal to or higher than 8 during the last three years of secondary school;
- awarding five 20% discount bonuses on monthly fees to students who graduate with an 8 or higher average score during the last three years of secondary school.
Universidad del CEMA (UCEMA)
This University offers direct admission to undergraduate courses to students who have achieved an 8 or higher average score from the second to fourth year of secondary school.
In addition, flag-bearers and escorts of the Argentinian National Flag will qualify to apply for a 50% scholarship.
Universidad del Salvador (USAL)
Sworn graduates will be accepted for undergraduate programmes without attending access courses, except for those programmes that require a mandatory admission exam.
Scholarships will be granted depending on factors such as distance, number of siblings and sporting merit.
Should students need to prove their English competence, international examinations certification will be taken into account.
Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE)

Graduates from Sworn Junior College who have achieved an average score of 7 or higher in the last three years of secondary school and do not have any disciplinary sanctions will be exempted from taking admission exams for UADE’s undergraduate courses. This opportunity will only be available during the year directly after graduation from secondary school.

A maximum of two scholarships with a discount of up to 25% on annual fees (enrolment and monthly fees) will be granted to those students who apply for the annual merit based scholarship contest, aimed at students who show high academic performance levels (i.e., an average score of 8 or higher in the last three years of secondary school) and have no disciplinary sanctions. Scholarships may be renewed for one extra year.

Those students who have obtained an International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, an Advanced International Certificate of Education (AICE) certification, an International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) certification or an Italian, German or French High School Diploma will be able to present their certification in order to be exempted from taking the admission exam.
CEMIC
CEMIC will grant direct admission to their undergraduate programmes to those students from Sworn Junior College who have obtained an average score of 8 or higher and have taken Physics and Chemistry during their secondary school education.
Direct admission to CEMIC is subject to the University’s requirements for the acceptance process.
In order to apply for an honorary scholarship, the student must enrol in the first year of the chosen course of study. They must submit a letter written by the school authorities and complete an online scholarship application form. The following requirements need to be met:
The candidate should
- have achieved an 8 or higher average score during all years of secondary school;
- have taken the last 3 years of secondary education at the same school;
- attend an interview with a university authority.
These scholarships are only valid for those students who have completed their secondary education the year before applying for admission to university. They are also subject to vacancy availability.
Universidad Austral
In order to be exempted from taking the admission exam, candidates should have achieved a general average score equal to or higher than 8 in the last five years of secondary school.
For the Business Administration and Accounting courses, candidates must fulfil the following specific requirements:
1. A general average score of 8 or higher in all secondary school subjects
2. A general average score of 8 or higher in Mathematics in all years of secondary school
3. A general average score of 8 or higher in Accounting in all years of secondary school
If the secondary school curriculum does not include Accounting as a subject in the last three years of school, the candidate will need to take and pass “Introduction to Accounting” in the admission course. Candidates will pay half the price of the admission course.
For the Nursing programme, the candidate will need to sit in on the admission course.
Sworn Junior College Scholarship: This scholarship includes up to a 50% discount on the monthly fee in the first three years of the programme.
Students applying for this programme will need to take the admission course, get a score equal to or higher than 7 in all subjects and attend 75% of the lessons.
All candidates without exception must take the admission course.
Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA)
Direct admission will be offered to those students who have achieved an average score of 8.5 or higher in the last three years of secondary school.
This admission benefit is not applicable to the Medicine and Dentistry courses.
Academic excellence scholarships: Sworn Junior College will be granted a scholarship for the student who has achieved the highest average score in their class (at least 8.5 or higher in each of the last three years of secondary school) or to that student who, having achieved the minimum score requirement, has been chosen by the school authorities in favour of their overall performance.
Universidad de Belgrano (UB)
In order to be granted direct admission, the following requirements need to be met:
The candidate should
- achieve a general average score of 7 or higher;
- present a cover letter from the school in which their general score and overall performance during their attendance at this school are detailed;
- have no disciplinary sanctions for serious misconduct;
The university will award two half scholarships to two students who, having achieved a general average score of 7 or higher in their secondary education, are chosen by the school Heads to apply for this benefit. This scholarship will only be applicable for the school year beginning immediately after graduation from secondary school.
Applications for admission will be accepted under the terms presented only during the school year beginning immediately after graduation from secondary school.
Universidad de Palermo
By means of the academic agreement with Sworn Junior College, Universidad de Palermo is committed to
- providing academic counselling to Sworn students and families who are interested in the programmes offered by the university;
- keeping Sworn Junior College students informed about university events, talks, and conferences open to secondary school students;
- offering a 30% discount on the entrance fee to students attending the last year of secondary school;
- offering a 20% discount for graduates of the school;
- offering 5 (five) scholarships for the access course to UP university.
Universidad Europea del Atlántico
Through its Specific Training Program for students, the University offers:
- Two annual economic assistance scholarships for studying Computer Engineering, covering 50%, 66%, or 100% of the annual tuition fees. The student will complete 20 hours of training and instruction per week.
- Two annual economic assistance scholarships covering 50% of the annual tuition fees for studies in Food Science and Technology, and 66% of the annual tuition fees for studies in Engineering of Food and Agricultural Industries. The student will complete 15 hours of training and instruction per week.
- Two annual economic assistance scholarships covering 25% or 50% of the annual tuition fees for studies in Applied Languages of Audiovisual Communication. The student will complete 15 hours per week in the Department of Communication, Text Editing, or related fields.
- Two annual scholarships of €3,000 in collaboration with the Ibero-American Foundation (FUNIBER) for studying Industrial Organization Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Engineering of Agricultural and Food Industries.
- Three annual Academic Excellence scholarships of €1,000 each for students with an average of 9.0 in any of the 15 degree programs offered by the university.
- A full academic scholarship for credits in the University Expert program in the specialties of International Relations, Marketing, International Business, and Cybersecurity for all students enrolled in the Bachelor’s programs in Business Administration, Journalism, Advertising and Public Relations, Translation and Interpretation, and Computer Engineering who wish to pursue one of these Expert programs.
- The benefit of the FUNIBER scholarship at the UNEATLANTICO University Residence, subject to availability at the time of application. The financial support will range from €1,000 to €2,000 depending on the type of accommodation chosen by the student. This financial support will be applicable for the first academic year of the student at UNEATLANTICO. The FUNIBER residence scholarship is compatible with any academic scholarship obtained by the student.
